Woodfield admits pupils aged 11 - 19 years with a wide range of moderate or complex learning difficulties. The school has significant experience in the education of young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
The Local Authority, following formal assessment of a child’s special educational needs initiates referral of a student to the school. Parents/Carers considering Woodfield for their child are very welcome to visit the school. Please contact the school office to make an appointment. If following your visit you are interested in a place for your child, you should discuss this further with the London Borough of Brent Special Needs Department (Tel: 0208 387 3851), or your own local authority.
The Brent Council website has information about Brent School’s and their admission arrangements at the Brent Family and Schools website:
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, pupils are admitted to school at the beginning of a term.
Pupils who are due to start in the following September have the opportunity to attend an induction program in July at Woodfield School to support their transition process.
